Records Retained by the Morton Grove Public Library

• Name, phone number and address of all current library cardholders.

• Any restrictions (such as for minors) on the cardholder's access.

• List of materials currently charged to the cardholder.

• Pending interlibrary loan requests and reserve requests made by the cardholder.

• Charges due from the cardholder for overdue or lost materials.

Records Not Retained by the Morton Grove Public Library

• Information about past library card holders who have no charges due to the Library.

• Logs or history of past materials circulated to a patron except those with unpaid overdue fines.

• Temporary files and records saved on patron-use computers. (These are automatically deleted periodically throughout each day.)

• Records of e-mails.
