The Morton Grove Public Library enlists capable volunteers to assist staff in certain defined roles in order to efficiently provide quality library service on a day-to-day basis. Volunteers are vetted in a similar fashion to employees. If a volunteer is expected to drive, a copy of a driver’s license and proof of insurance must be kept on file in the Library Administration Office. Volunteers are supervised by paid library staff.
