Writers Workshop

WritersWorkshop_logoThe MGPL Writers Workshop is for writers who want to share their works in progress and support other writers in drafting, revising, and finishing manuscripts, essays, poems, or any other type of writing. Readings can be in any genre or format. Writers of any level or professional aspiration are welcome.

The workshop is held on the first Wednesday evening of every month from 7–8:30pm in the Cooperman Room (lower level). If you have questions or would like to receive email updates about this group, contact Chad Comello, Adult Services Librarian, at ccomello@mgpl.org or 847-929-5108.

NANOWRIMO 2017 BEGINS!

Join the MGPL Writers Workshop for National Novel Writing Month, a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to creative writing for 30 days. Whether you want to write a novel or just get a few words down, come do writing sprints and enjoy snacks in the company of your fellow scribes.

Write-Ins (all from 7-8:30pm)

Halfway: November 15
Finale: November 29 at 7pm
