Visit the Library year-round for storytimes and playtimes. We offer drop-in classes that meet weekly all year round, plus a new storytime class session each season. We even have a storytime for older kids.
Classes meet in the Activity Room on the Library's lower level, adjacent to the Youth Services Department. Older and younger siblings are always welcome as guests in our classes, as long as the child registered for the class is the appropriate age.
DROP-IN CLASSES
Monday Morning Playgroup (All Ages)
Meets weekly on Monday mornings at 10:30 am
Not a storytime, but an opportunity to meet new friends for play and fun in the Activity Room. The Library provides the toys. Excellent for introducing young children to the Library in a low-key, unstructured session.
Listen Up! (All Ages)
Meets weekly on Tuesday mornings at 10 am
Love stories, songs, and crafts? There are so many things you can learn when you open your ears and listen. For children and their parent or caregiver.
Wee Read (0-24 months)
Meets weekly on Fridays at 11 am and 1:30 pm, and on the first Saturday of the month at 10 am
Drop in, meet new friends, and experience stories, songs, and interactive play aimed at our littlest listeners. Older siblings are welcome.

Monthly Classes
Register for individual classes
Movin' and Groovin' (2-4 years)
A class for children 2-4 years old who love to move, dance, and wiggle! Meets on the first Saturday of the month. Registration is required for each class.
Storytime Sessions
Join us for an 8-week class session each Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer. Children must be the age indicated before the first day of the session. Registration is required.
2013 session dates
Winter - January 9 - February 28
Spring: April 3 - May 23
Toddler Time (24-36 months)
A two-riffic storytime especially for 2-year-olds! This 45 minute class meets on Thursday mornings at 9:30 or 11 am.
Preschool Storytime (Ages 3-6)
Stories, songs, and crafts for the school-ready child. This 1 hour class meets on Wednesdays at 10:30 am or 1:30 pm.
Explorers (Grades K-2)
An active storytime filled with surprises each week. This 1 hour class meets on Wednesday evenings at 7 pm.
