The Marriage of Opposites by Alice Hoffman will take us to the topical island of St. Thomas and Paris, while we walk the familiar trails of Morton Grove.

SILVER SCREEN SERIES: THE 39 STEPS

The Silver Screen Series shows films from the "Golden Age of Cinema" and other famous favorites. They are shown on the 1st Friday every month.

For October, come see The 39 Steps (1935, NR, 1 hr 30 min) on Oct. 7th at 2:00 PM! Watch a spy movie about Canadian Richard Hannay, who becomes involved in an international spy ring related to the mysterious "39 steps." Cast: Robert Donat, Madeleine Carroll.
