Connect with a live tutor on HelpNow! by Brainfuse.  Get one-on-one help with homework, skills buidling, and test prep.  Tutors are available every day from 3-10 pm, except holidays.   A 24/7 Center is available during off-hours.

MGPL has a lot of great premium online resources to help you with homework or research.  These resources are free to use - just log in with your MGPL card number. Ancient & Medieval History Online   Focuses on Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, Rome, Africa, Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Islamic Empire from prehistory through the 1500s
Explora Secondary Schools   Aimed for the secondary school student, this is a user-friendly interface for content found in the Kids Search and Student Resource Center, including top videos from the Associated Press.
Gale Virtual Reference Library   Over 300 reference books, covering art, biography, history, science and more
Kids Search / EBSCO   Kids Search provides easy searching for Elementary and Middle School (K through 8) students with results easily sorted by source type-magazines, reference books, photos, flags, etc.
LearningExpress Library   Test study materials for a variety of tests, including PSAT, SAT, ACT, and AP exams

World Almanac / FirstSearch   A basic reference resource with brief biographies, encyclopedia entries, facts, and statistics

The Library has computers with Internet access and Microsoft Office 2010.  We also have free Wi-Fi if you bring your own laptop or mobile device, and many study tables throughout the Library.
