BOOK TALK: COMMUNITY MATTERS

Join us for June's Book Talk at the American Legion Memorial Civic Center (6140 Dempster Street) on June 7th at 1:00 PM! June's Book Talk, titled "Community Matters," will kick off our "This Is Us: A Diverse and Engaged Community" Summer Reading Program, we'll talk about books that celebrate the value of community. Bring your library card with you because all of the fabulous books discussed will be available for checkout.

If you are a person who loves to draw, color, amaze your friends with your masterpieces, and you are in grades 2-6, this program is for you! Each month we will attack a new and exciting art project that will challenge and build your artistic skills. Dig into the provided art supplies with your creativity and come out an Art Attack winner! For May's Project, we are working on "Drawing Flowers and Plants".

The Silver Screen Series shows films from the "Golden Age of Cinema" and other famous favorites. They are shown on the 1st Friday every month.
