Winter Reading Program 2019 logo

Looking for something to do with the kids during winter break? Kids from birth to 8th grade can join the 2019 Winter Break Reading Program!

From Saturday, December 21 to Sunday, January 5, visit the Youth Info Desk to pick up a Bingo board for each child. They will read, play, and have fun both at home and in the Library as they complete 5 squares in a row to make a Bingo. Participants earn prizes for completing every Bingo up to 5, so even if you only have one day to visit they can still earn something.

Need to fill up the whole two weeks of Winter Break with things to do? Start the Bingo board on one day and return to finish and claim prizes on another. The deadline to turn in your board or collect prizes is Sunday, January 5 at 5pm.

We also have programs running throughout the two weeks, most of which don’t require advanced registration. You can see the programs listed below. If you have any questions, contact us at the Youth Info Desk at 847-929-5102 or ysinfo@mgpl.org.

See you at the Library!
