We offer no-contact curbside pickup services for your item holds and other library services.

- Holds must be ready for pickup before requesting a time slot
- Confirmed time slot required to be able to pick up items
- Returns accepted anytime in the outside bookdrop (items too large for the bookdrop can be returned during pickup hours)
1. Place a hold
Log in to your account to place holds on items you’d like to borrow. Or call us at (847) 965-4220 and our staff can help you find what you're looking for and place holds for you.
2. Wait to hear from us
As soon as your items are available, we’ll send you an email. (If you don’t have email, we’ll give you a call.) Please do not come to the Library until you receive this notification.
4. Come to the Library
Come to the rear of the Library, park in the designated spots, and call 847-929-5103. We'll bring your items out to you.

You can return your items in the outside bookdrop, which is always open.
Currently, any item except STEM Kits can be placed on hold for pickup.
All materials will have a 3-week loan period.
Items ready for pickup will stay on hold for 7 days to allow time to make a pickup appointment.
All materials will be checked out to your account and bagged before your appointment. All you will need to do is arrive during your appointment time and take your items.
If any of your other holds become available before your appointment, those holds will be included in your order.
