The Library’s top priority during this pandemic is the health and safety of our community. We are closely monitoring the conditions of the pandemic and following guidelines set by local and state officials as we prepare to offer modified Library services.

Based on these guidelines, the Library will soon begin accepting returns and offering No-Contact Curbside Pickup for Morton Grove cardholders. Read on for more details.

returns begin may 31

Returns begin May 31

Starting May 31, the Library will begin accepting returns on Sundays and Mondays every other week.

The outside bookdrop will remain closed, but we will provide bins in the back of the building where you can drop your materials.

Why are returns only every other week? We will be quarantining returned materials for 7 days based on recommendations by health officials, and will have limited staff available to process materials.

Check our No-Contact Curbside Services webpage at mgpl.org/curbside for exact hours and days for item returns.

No-Contact Pickup begins June 16

Starting June 16, the Library will begin no-contact curbside pickup service for Morton Grove cardholders only.

This service will be available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays by appointment and is only available for MGPL items. More information about pickup will be available soon at mgpl.org/curbside.

Stay up-to-date

For the most up-to-date information on these services, please continue to check this website and the Library's social media accounts. You can also call us at 847-965-4220 or email info@mgpl.org.

Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to seeing you at your no-contact pickup appointments soon. Stay safe and take care!
