Fiber artist Natasha Lehrer Lewis will teach you how to create a Northern Cardinal, the Illinois state bird, using needle felting techniques. A kit with supplies will be available to pick up beforehand. 

A special puppet storytime for preschoolers. We'll each make a simple puppet craft then use them to act out our stories and songs. 

Ages 3 to 5 with a parent/caregiver. 

Drop-in with the whole family to make snow-themed crafts. 

Projects are intended for ages 3-10, though younger children with a grown-up and older children are welcome to participate. 

Create handmade knitted and crocheted crafts for local organizations. Please bring your needles and/or hooks and some acrylic or cotton yarn.

Sewing expert Mike Hall will go over all the basics of setting up and using a sewing machine. Sewing machines and supplies will be provided.

Sewing expert Mike Hall will teach the basic sewing machine stitches used to construct a zippered pouch. Sewing machines and supplies will be provided. Prior sewing machine experience is required.
