Join us for a book adventure! We’ll read a book out loud, then create props to act out exciting parts of the story together. This month’s featured story is Anatole by Eve Titus.

Drop in and play at our sensory stations during this mess-friendly program. Stations include shaving cream, kinetic sand, and more.

Ryan Decker breaks down the basics of personal finance: budgeting, introductory saving, and investment strategies. He will also share tools and resources for learning more about these topics.

Practice seated poses in one of the gentlest forms of yoga available, led by certified yoga instructor Joan McGee. All experience levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes.

Learn the basics of preventing crime at home, in the community, or on vacation. Presented by the Cook County Sheriff’s Office.

Create handmade knitted and crocheted crafts for local organizations. Please bring your needles and/or hooks and some acrylic or cotton yarn.

Use supplies provided in the Youth Services Department to get creative and make a seasonal craft.

Drop in for a relaxing afternoon doing jigsaw puzzles and listening to audiobooks.
