Between the Lines is now held on two different days, either in person or on Zoom.

Create handmade knitted and crocheted crafts for local organizations. Please bring your needles and/or hooks and some acrylic or cotton yarn.

Between the Lines meets for online discussions via Zoom. Registered patrons will receive an email the day before the program with the meeting ID and password for joining the event. New members are warmly welcome!

Fiber artist Natasha Lehrer Lewis will teach you how to create a Northern Cardinal, the Illinois state bird, using needle felting techniques. A kit with supplies will be available to pick up beforehand. 

Once a month, we turn a STEM idea into an engineering project. Projects are intended for school-aged kids and above, though younger children are welcome to participate with a grown-up.

Michael Spilg, PMI-certified instructor, will offer a beginner-friendly overview of project management methods, including Traditional, Agile, and Hybrid approaches. Explore the key tools of project management through sample projects.

Practice seated poses in one of the gentlest forms of yoga available, led by certified yoga instructor Susan Wilkens. All experience levels welcome. Wear comfortable clothes. Please use a sturdy chair without arms (if possible).
